If we examine the tragedy happened with first family, then will come into the conclusion that all embarrassment had happened to this world because of the disunity among their family life. The following points are the real markings about the intention of God when he created them. God made the family as an expression of His wisdom, love and continual reminder of our human limitations. Without obedience to the Lord's ideal purposes the family tends toward self-destructive tendencies. Notice that the Lord instituted the family for ten main reasons. First, the family was created for companionship, Second, the family was instituted for the purpose of being fruitful and multiplying the earth with Christ like people. Third, the family was created to help man manage the earth for the greater glory of God. Fourth, the family was established so that man could have transparent communications without having to fear any shame or guilt. Fifth, the family was created to be an example of love, truth and service to the whole world. Sixth, the family was set up so that men and women would be able to compliment and not compete with one another. Seventh, the family was built around one man and one wife so as to establish fidelity in our relationships. Eighth, the family was developed so people can learn the importance of loyalty to one another. People who learn how to love and trust other people first need to learn this in their homes. Ninth, the family was created to teach people how to love, trust and obey those who are in authority over them
Tenth, the family was inaugurated so that God would have a training ground for leaders for the church. If we let this canon stretch over our family life, it would definitely highlight our failings. It's very sorry to spot that the number of divorces in our marthomites are being scored high in number despite the fact that the Church is very particular in educating its faithful members to find their ultimate in family ties. Reason behind this malady is very vivid and strong. The dignity of a man was considered in Old Testament time by the magnitude of how much wealth he had acquired in his life time. But in New Testament time, Jesus reinterpreted the concept of wealth according to the demands of the Kingdom of God.  Kingdom of God requires the opposites of the earthly perceptions. Jesus vehemently warned us against the measuring rods of relationship based on money. The definitions of relationship have been misrepresented in modern society. How heartbreaking it is to see today that the husband wife relationship has been fabricated under the law of money and market. Money has become the guiding principles of many families. Human values and spiritual tolerance have been replaced by the mistaken halo of media and culture.  Are we loosing the real wealth; our children?.   We could have fashioned our life in a different way if had deeply rooted in the scripture of God's kingdom. Beloved brethren, Family is the pivotal force of all society. Where that strong point was questioned ever, hardly could survive such a wonderful institution in all times. I thank God for the zeal of parents I could observe in our church. Some parents are coming together with their children for service and wait until Sunday school finishes. With many reasons like duty of parents a few are not able to make this wave, but  I hope that they are holding on the Christian nurturing at home for their children; if not, it should be.  For more enrichment of family, we have on track of starting Young Couple's Fellowship where we can discuss and find solutions for the problems of our time. Hopefully I look forward to begin the first session of Young couples in May second Saturday after service. Dear all, please find your place in the meeting earnestly. V.B.S has arranged for our children in coming August, probably in the last week of August. If you are going back to India during vacation, please organize your journey so that you could come back before that date. You might have already known about the family retreat on 5th of May. It is a new leap into the depth of scripture so that we can fly in the sky high like eagles in the days to come. Our parish is remarkably growing everyday with your prayer and support please continue the same vigor and enthusiasm in coming days. We have standing on the threshold of yet another financial year. I thank God for all the providence have enjoyed in last year. I appreciate all the office bearers for their committed work rendered for the parish by acknowledging their effort to make it a fruitful vineyard. Also encourage the new committee members to act according to the grace given upon us. Our brother Mr. John Thomas (Sunny) is still in hospital. He is getting well but pray for speedy recovery.    Please uphold me and my family in your valuable prayers. By the grace of God my studies are on track. I am going to complete my fist year in May.  Next semester will begin in September. During my vacation I would like to be in India for a short period of fifteen days. I thank you all for your kind support and prayer in all my endeavors and expecting the same in the coming days too.
